Wombat Hill House
Set in the enchanting Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens .Here you will find a simple, seasonal menu with a nod to our region and plenty of produce from our Dairy Flat Farm as well as selected trusted suppliers. There are several acres of gardens to explore with beautiful vistas of surrounding landmarks such as Mount Franklin, Mount Kooroocheang, the Convent Gallery and more.

Art & Culture
Daylesford wears its art on its sleeve. Wander along the main thoroughfare of Vincent Street and you’ll see all kinds of small galleries, vintage stores and creative spaces along the way.
Convent Gallery is a must-do in Daylesford. Once the Holy Cross Convent, it now houses a museum, multiple gallery spaces, a beautifully restored chapel, a café and a gift shop, all surrounded by beautiful gardens.
Black Gallery in Daylesford is a working artist studio and contemporary art gallery. This unique venue allows visitors to talk with and purchase art directly from the artist.
Outdoor Adventure
With its stunning Goldfields landscape, especially in autumn, Daylesford is an incredibly scenic spot for easy adventures in the great outdoors.
Daylesford Town Walk If you’re not up for a high-octane hike, go for a Daylesford Town Walk instead. These tours go for 90 minutes, and you’ll cover around three to four kilometres of Daylesford at a gentle pace (with a few hills).
Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens Take in the panoramic views and beautiful surrounds of the 1860s Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens. Perched high on the summit of an extinct volcano, it's the perfect spot for a picnic, or you can climb the Pioneers Lookout Tower for uninterrupted views of Daylesford town and surrounds.
