Welcome!
· ChillOut Festival is a large LGBTIQA+ pride festival.
· It happens every year in Daylesford, Victoria.
· It happens over the Labour Day long weekend in March.
· This year it is on from Thursday March 5th to Monday March 9th
· More than 30,000 people come to celebrate community, pride, and fun.
· ChillOut Festival started in 1997 as a small local event.
· Now it is the largest country pride festival in Australia!
Types of events at ChillOut Festival.
There are two kinds of events at ChillOut Festival:
Hosted Events
· Hosted Events are run by the ChillOut Festival team
· We work hard to make these events accessible
· There is an Easy Language guide with information about all of the Hosted Events
· Companion card holders get a free ticket
· People with disability can buy discounted tickets to Hosted Events.
· People with disability can get a Green Lanyard to jump the entry line up and get a seat up the front. (Or you can wear a green sunflower lanyard if you have one.)

Partner Events
· Partner Events are run by other people or groups.
· We will help where we can to improve accessibility
· There is an Easy Language guide with information about all of the Partner Events
Here is a link to the Partner Events. These are other events around town that are run independently of ChillOut but still support Chillout by being part of the festival. We can not guarantee there will be someone there to assist with accessibility at each of these event.
Accessibility at ChillOut Festival
In 2026, ChillOut Festival will have new accessibility supports.
There will be:
1. Trained Accessibility volunteers.
2. An Access Hub. This is a place you can go to for information and help about Accessibility.
3. An Accessibility Coordinator.
1. Trained Accessibility Volunteers:
Accessibility Volunteers wear green vests so they are easy to find.
They can help you:
· Enter events
· Find seats
· Get information
· Move around the space
· Buy food and drinks
· Feel safe and supported to have a great time!
2. The Access Hub
The Access Hub is at the Daylesford Town Hall. The address is 76 Vincent Street, Daylesford. The Access hub is part of the Festival Hub.
At the Access Hub you can:
· Ask questions
· Buy or Collect tickets
· Get accessibility information
· Buy a shuttle bus wristband
· Learn about transport, toilets, and seating
· Pick up an Access Lanyard. When you have an Access Lanyard:
o Show it to a volunteer in a green vest at
o They will take you to a seat up the front
o You do not need to wait in line

How do I attend?
· There are no trains at Daylesford. Most people drive to Daylesford and stay overnight or for the whole weekend.
· There are many places to stay in the area. You can contact the Accessibility Coordinator to talk about places to stay. ·
· Many people choose to volunteer to help at ChillOut events. Volunteers get rewarded with free camping and free tickets to some events!
